Hampstead Norreys Parish Partnership (HNPP) is an independent organisation that was set up by volunteers in May 2014 as the successor of the Parish Plan.

The purpose of the HNPP is to enhance the involvement of people of all ages, groups and local organisations in the life of the parish, in order to improve the lives of those who live and work in Hampstead Norreys, by promoting cohesion and collaboration, responding to needs and desires, fostering better relationships between residents and between generations and having fun as a community.

The HNPP was officially launched at the Community Fayre held on 5th July 2014.

Involvement in the Parish Partnership is open to three groups:

Individual - we have a growing list of people who would like to play an active role in their community. Individual members join a mailing list and receive updates on voluntary tasks and roles that they can get involved in. Some are small and others more regular which means that people can get involved as much or as little as they wish depending on their other commitments and interests.

Benefits - meet new people, support and make a difference in your local community, help other people, keep healthy (volunteering is known to increase self-confidence, combat depression and help you stay physically healthy)

Groups and Non-commercial organisations - more than 20 groups are already members of the Parish Partnership.

Benefits - page on village website, work more closely with other village groups and organisations, greater opportunity to increase club membership numbers, help and advice about grants/funding

Local Businesses - local businesses are key to the economic and social development of our community and local area.

Benefits - village-based businesses can have a free listing on the business page of the village website, raise your business’ profile in the community, link up with other businesses in the parish for mutual support and gains

All those who join the Parish Partnership, whether individuals, village groups, organisations or businesses will be invited to the Parish Partnership’s AGM held in September each year.
